An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team in Melbourne's North-West pocket near Sunbury. This is a great role for a motivated individual seeking a diverse role and a new challenge, who is passionate in the AP field, and can ideally commence as soon as possible!

About the Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will include but not be limited to:

• Review and verify invoices and payment requests 
• Sort, code, match and process invoices 
• Processing local and international payment runs on a weekly basis
• Reconciliations of supplier accounts
• Setting up new suppliers
• Resolve invoice discrepancies
• Handle vendor and supplier queries
• Building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ad hoc tasks as required

About You:
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable position along with the following attributes:

• Effective time management & organisational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable and positive attitude, with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to confidently work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment
