An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their team based in CBD, on a permanent, part time basis.
Position Description
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working within a small team, you will be responsible for:
- Payment runs
- Processing invoices
- Statement reconciliations
- Settlements
- Handling the AP mailbox
- Supporting the broader finance team
- Driving process improvement and change
- Handling supplier queries
- Assisting with month end
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable role, as well as the following attributes:
- High level numeracy and reconciliation skills
- Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environment
- High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a high volume and fast paced environment
