The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the end to end function of Accounts Payable and provides assistance to the Accounting support team when necessary. With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their team part-time permanent basis.
Duties
Reporting directly into the Accounts Payable Manager and working in a close knit team, your daily tasks will include;
- Matching invoices with purchase orders
- Processing a high volume of invoices daily
- Process supplier payments within supplier trading terms
- Statement reconciliations
- Ad hoc accounting and administration duties
Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in an end to end Accounts Payable position
- Ability to work proficiently in a high volume environment
- Positive and vibrant personality
- Experience using Great Plains is desirable, but not a necessity
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
