An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable professional to join their team based in Melbourne's Northern suburbs on a full-time permanent basis.

Position Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a close knit AP team, you will be responsible for:

• High volume invoice processing 
• Ensuring timely payments are made, including the execution of international payments with accuracy, considering the complexities of various currencies
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Processing employee reimbursements & expense claims
• Handling accounts payable queries in a timely and professional manner
• Setting up new suppliers and vendor maintenance
• Completing relevant reporting duties
• Developing relationships with suppliers & relevant stakeholders to assist with queries efficiently and effectively
• Collaboratively participate in strategic planning and continued process improvement
• Ad hoc duties to assist the broader finance team

Ideal Candidate
To be considered successful in the role, you will possess the following attributes:

• Extensive experience within a similar end to end Accounts Payable role
• Impeccable communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to confidently work autonomously as well as collaboratively
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Ability to work proficiently in a high volume environment
• Self-motivated, positive and supportive team member
• Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
