Our client is seeking the skills of an Accounts Officer/Bookkeeper to commence immediately in a full-time temporary role. Our client is Australian owned with over thirty years’ experience in providing the highest benchmark of quality equipment. They boast a high performing environment and are currently seeking to add to their team. You will have the continued support of the broader finance team to insure a high level of efficiency in your role as the account’s officer/bookkeeper.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting into the Finance Manager and working in a finance team, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following;
- Bank reconciliation
- Help with daily processing of accounts payable invoices
- Reviewing accounts payable invoices
- Admin support for payroll (reviewing timesheets) - Fortnightly
- Data entry
- Daily approvals
- Providing support to the finance team where required
- Experience using Xero essential
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- Previous experience in a hands-on account’s officer/bookkeeper role
- Ability to work proficiently in a medium to high volume environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Conveniently located in South Eastern suburbs – Parking on-site
