A great opportunity for an Accounts Payable Team Lead and/or Manager to join a highly successful business based Parramatta. The role is a hands-on role, leading an accounts payable team of 2. This position requires someone who can provide feedback and suggestions on future improvements to systems/procedures.
This requires someone who is able to start immediately.
The Responsibilities
- Managing, coaching and leading 2 Account Payable Officers.
- Matching, batching and coding a high volume of invoices
- Preparation, allocation of costs to correct G/L accounts, and payment of weekly bills
- Reconciliation of bank and supplier reconciliations
- Contribute accounts payable information to other departments upon request
- Month-end closing process
- Assist with automation projects, making recommendations and improving the AP function.
- Experience in a similar accounts payable leadership/team lead position
- Previous experience with a large ERP system
- Eagerness to make improvements within the team
- Experience with Pronto
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel
