Our client is a respected and renowned organisation within their industry. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join their friendly and dynamic team based in the CBD.
Position Description
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the role will involve taking ownership of the Accounts Payable process with key tasks involving:
- Managing two junior Accounts Payable Officers
- Management of relationships with suppliers
- Liaising with the operations team
- Compiling month end reports
- Completing weekly and monthly payment runs
- Reconciliation of creditor accounts
- Assisting with processing of invoices
- Ad hoc tasks as required
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have managed an Accounts Payable team in the past, or have extensive experience working as a Senior Accounts Payable Officer. The successful applicant will also have the following attributes:
- High level numeracy and reconciliation skills
- Demonstrated intermediate Excel skills including the use of formulas and functions
- High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
- The ability to work within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
