A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to come on board and lead a team of 7 during an exciting transformation / change period. You will be a key stakeholder among the finance team of the multi-million dollar turnover business, as a market leader in their industry.
Position Description
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounts Receivable Manager to join their team. Reporting to the CFO, your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Effectively lead, manage and oversee a team of 7 staff in AR and Credit.
- Manage the credit function: multi-million dollar debtors ledger across Australia and NZ.
- Management of the day to day operations of allocating, receipting and reconciling accounts.
- Overseeing the collections process and handling escalations.
- Optimising existing processes to achieve strategic goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships across the business alongside external stakeholders.
- Developing and generating routine reports to help senior management and key business stakeholders monitor progress.
- Driving and developing a high performance and collaborative culture.
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar AR Management role, within a medium sized organisation, as well as the following attributes:
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude that will fit well within the culture of the business.
- First class communication, from both a verbal and written perspective.
- Excellent leadership skills with initiative and a positive ability to lead and motivate a team.
- A passionate and positive 'can do' attitude, in conjunction with initiative and a strategic focused mindset.
