Position Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will encompass full-function Accounts Receivable duties which include but are not limited to the following:
- Allocation of payments
- Reconciliations
- Set up payment plans
- Daily collection calls
- Assess credit applications and set up new accounts
- Prepare debtors reports
- As well as other ad hoc duties assigned by your manager
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will also have the following attributes:
- Previous experience in a Credit and/or Accounts Receivable Officer position
- Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong reconciliation, negotiation and debt-collection skills
- Prior experience in the construction industry is favourable
- Attention to detail
- Have a positive, upbeat attitude
