The Responsibilities:
- Provides support to the Finance department through the ownership of reconciliations and processing duties within Accounts Receivable.
- Responsible for timely collection of debts, including chasing of overdue accounts.
- Preparation of billing/invoicing weekly
- Responsible for the appropriate recommendation of Provision for Doubtful Debts put forth to the Assistant Accountant/Financial Controller at each financial month-end.
- Processing credit notes
- Completing bank deposits/cash receipts
- Uploading claim files to portal
- Responsible for setting up new customers/clients and ensuring all checks are adhere to
- Prior experience within Accounts Receivable (other accounts experience is also advantageous)
- Strong communication skills as a priority and a positive attitude and be a keen learner.
- Collaborative - works well in a team
- Ability to reconcile Accounts Receivable collections amounts, with exceptional organisation skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
