Our client has a strong national presence within the retail industry and a well-established reputation across Australia. Based in Melbourne’s western suburbs, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer with a strong work ethic to join their friendly finance team.
Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role includes but is not limited to:
- Handling reconciliation
- Managing overdue accounts and negotiating repayment terms
- Allocating and receipting payments
- Handle credit applications
- Preparing monthly debtor reports
- Assist with ad hoc duties
- Handle queries from internal and external stakeholders
Ideal candidate
- Previous experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Positive, proactive and can-do attitude
