Position Description
Reporting to the Credit Manager and working in a close-knit finance team, the role will include but not be limited to:
- Manage debts that fall outside payment terms
- Overseeing a debtor’s ledger of national accounts
- Flagging matters with delayed payments
- Providing monthly statements to clients
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive debtor file notes
- Weekly and monthly reporting to the Credit Manager
- Meeting monthly collection targets
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable role, as well as the following attributes:
- High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High level numeracy and reconciliation skills
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- Ability to thrive in a high volume and fast paced environment
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
