About the company
Our client is a market leader in their field and are presently seeking an ambitious Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team immediately. The business is poised for further growth, and an exciting opportunity presents for a driven candidate to join their supportive team and hit the ground running. This is a great role for a motivated individual to join the business in an ongoing temporary position located in Melbourne’s West.

Duties
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Collection calls
• Following up on outstanding debt
• Account reconciliations
• Providing high level of customer support
• Handling telephone account queries – internal / external
• Allocating and receipting payments
• Setting up new accounts and invoicing
• Reconciling debtor accounts
• General ad hoc duties assigned by your manager

Skills and Experience  
The successful applicant will also have the following attributes:

• Previous experience within Accounts Receivables
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well as in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
