An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team based in Laverton North, on a long term permanent basis.

Position Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager the role is critical to supporting the business and customers. This is a newly created and diverse role which is an opportunity to learn and develop skills through the entire supply chain and business processes of the business. Working within a small team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited too:
  • Processing invoices and daily sales dockets
  • Attending to credits and re-invoicing of clients for any previous errors
  • Communicating with internal customers via telephone, electronically or in person in relation to product or service enquiries.
  • Reconciliation of the accounts 
  • Set up new customers and accounts
  • Daily banking 
  • Allocation and receipting of payments 
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable or Customer Service role, as well as the following attributes:
  • Excellent problem solving skills with a pro-active approach
  • Detail orientated and a keen eye for detail
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environment
  • High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
