The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Lead to join this values-driven organisation based south of the river. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability, a supportive team environment, and modern office facilities.
Reporting directly to the Financal Controller, this role will lead a small AR team of two direct reports, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure efficient accounts receivable processes, strong team development, and ongoing process improvement.
This role is office-based full-time, with the potential to work 1 day from home after the probation period.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small AR team, including day-to-day supervision, mentoring, and performance management
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer billing
- Prepare and reconcile refunds
- Issue statements and provide additional account information as required
- Oversee end-of-month banking tasks and ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain and review AR processes, implementing improvements where necessary
- Monitor team performance and provide regular reporting to the Finance Controller
- Liaise with customers, stakeholders, and internal departments to resolve queries professionally
- Support the broader finance team as required and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and accounting standards
- Qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping (desirable)
- NFP experience (highly desirable)
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and prior experience supervising a team
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of coaching and motivating a team
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong computer literacy and sound IT skills
