About the role
This role is challenging and fast-paced where you will be responsible for supporting the coordination and completion of Tax & Accounting administration tasks with the Team Manager.  It is a pivotal role to ensure the smooth running of administration tasks for the Tax & Accounting team.  Our client wants their new member to contribute to their business and be open to learning and taking on new opportunities.

Working closely and reporting to the Client Services Manager (Tax & Accounting), you will be joining a team responsible for delivering quality Tax & Accounting administration outcomes including, but not limited to:
  • Maintenance and compliance of data integrity for our client database and internal records (Salesforce, Xero Green & Blue)
  • Answering phone calls
  • Client queries, letters, correspondence
  • Prepare client invoices
  • Typing and preparation of client documentation
  • Assist with collating and packaging of client financial / Tax Packs
  • Liaising and lodgement of ATO documents
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, filing and scanning
  • Processing of incoming and outgoing mail (scanning and electronic filing)
  • Maintaining internal control systems
  • Support the overflow of Client Services Manager as required
  • Assisting the newly appointed Directors with secretarial support in particular:
  • Diary appointment management
  • client meetings and documentation associated
  • General back up of office administration and reception
Skills / Experience 
  • Computer literate at an intermediate-advanced level including (MS office suite & internet)
  • Strong excel skills – V-Look Up’s and Pivot Tables will be required
  • Excellent telephone manner, communication skills and customer service
  • Experience within an administrative support role
  • Discretion in relation to confidential information
  • Proactive, flexible approach to completion of work
  • The ability to provide effective and appropriate information to a variety of people
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, including an ability to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and manage a varied workload, in a busy professional environment
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative in problem-solving and in exercising judgment
