This is a key leadership role within a progressive, community-focused organisation delivering services across acute, residential and community settings.

Reporting to the Director of Allied Health and Community Services, this role forms part of the Leadership Team and offers genuine scope to influence service delivery, workforce capability and strategic direction.
The Opportunity You will lead a multidisciplinary Allied Health team operating across hospital, community health, residential aged care, schools, preschools and client homes. Services are delivered through flexible models including individual consultations, group programs, education and health promotion initiatives.
This position blends clinical leadership, operational oversight and service development, ensuring safe, sustainable and evidence-informed allied health services aligned to community need.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
- Provide professional leadership, mentoring and clinical supervision to Allied Health team members
- Promote integrated, person-centred care across multidisciplinary teams
- Support workforce capability, student placements and allied health assistant development
- Maintain contemporary evidence-based practice standards
- Oversee recruitment, workforce planning, rostering and performance development
- Set, monitor and report on performance targets and service outcomes
- Ensure compliance with funding, accreditation and reporting requirements
- Support development and expansion of allied health programs across acute and community streams
- Contribute to sustainable funding strategies and service growth
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, audits and program evaluations
- Strengthen partnerships across internal departments and external agencies

- Tertiary qualification in an Allied Health discipline
- Current registration or eligibility for practising membership with relevant professional body
- Minimum five years’ broad clinical experience
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Strong understanding of health service funding streams and operational frameworks
- Commitment to person-centred care principles
- Current driver’s licence
- Postgraduate qualification in management (Masters or Graduate Diploma), or working towards
- Experience in regional or rural health settings
- Exposure to service development and funding growth strategies
