I have been engaged to recruit an exciting and critical Finance AP & AR Manager role for a leading brand and household name based in Macquarie Park in the Northern Area of Sydney. This role will be for a 7 month FTC to cover Maternity Leave and has 1 direct report onshore with 20 people offshore reporting into you. It is a hands on role with strong exposure to senior leadership.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for full function of Accounts Receivable, Accounts payable, and bank function (All relates to P2P and O2C)
- Manage and mentor onshore/offshore team.
- Caretake and ensure month end compliance is completed for AP,AR and Banking operations.
- Lead initiatives to streamline AP and AR processes, leverage technology for automation, and improve efficiency
- Partner with different senior stakeholders to ensure efficiency and operations of the function is smooth and maintained
- Utilise data analytics to gain insights into spending patterns, identify cost saving opportunities, and generate comprehensive reports for informed decision making
The successful applicant should have:
- Strong people management skills - has led and onshore and offshore team
- Systems savvy, the business works with a number of different systems so able to hit the ground running
- Previous experience in shared services space AP/AR Leadership
- Can be Hands On - happy to get involved in the detail
- Strong self-starter, able to meet deadlines and with exceptional organizational skills.
- Proven ability to be versatile and action-oriented.
