The Company:

Our highly reputable client in the manufacturing sector is seeking a reliable Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team for a 1-month temporary assignment starting in April. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-structured finance function in a supportive team environment. The ideal candidate will bring attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proven AP experience.

About the Role:

You will be reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and supporting the finance team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing and matching supplier invoices and adjustment notes accurately and on time
• Assisting with scheduling creditor cash flows and executing payment runs
• Maintaining the Vendor Master File and accounts payable filing systems
• Reconciling supplier accounts and following up on variances
• Managing and coordinating the accounts email inbox
• Liaising with suppliers, purchasers, and internal stakeholders
• Providing ad hoc support to the CFO, Financial Accountant, and Assistant Accountant

About You:

• Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, particularly phone manner
• Autonomous, adaptable, and able to take initiative
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with AP processes
• Professional, organised, and able to manage competing priorities
