We are seeking a skilled and experienced Applications IT Project Manager to join our client on an intial 6-month daily rate contract, with the potential to extend. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering IT application projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and finalise IT application projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Monitor and track project progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as an IT Project Manager, specifically in managing application projects.
- Strong understanding of IT project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Local Government or Government experienced is a plus.
