Your key responsibilities will include:
- Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support the finance team in cost analysis and profitability reporting.
- Assist in preparing financial reports for internal stakeholders to aid decision-making
- Support the preparation and submission of BAS, GST, FBT, PAYG, and other tax obligations.
- Assist in preparing statutory financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
- Support the team in preparing for financial audits and compliance reviews
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Officer, Finance Officer, etc.
- CA/CPA qualified (enrolled, partial or full)
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
- Attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Effective communication and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to process improvements.
