About the organisation:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing finance team in the Perth CBD on a 9-month maternity leave contract.

The role:
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will play an integral part in supporting financial reporting, month-end processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Processing daily banking transactions and preparing reconciliations
• Preparing and posting month-end journals including payroll, accruals, and prepayments
• Assisting with monthly reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting the FP&A team with accounting and month-end activities
• Reconciling and processing complex supplier invoices
• Assisting with corporate credit card processing and AP tasks as required
• Providing coverage for key roles during periods of leave
• Participating in process improvement and ad-hoc project work

The candidate:
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting (CA/CPA preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience in a similar role
• Advanced Excel and large ERP system experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• High attention to detail and professional integrity
