Our client is looking for an Assistant Business Accountant to join their supportive and friendly team. They want someone on a immediate basis.
The role and the business is suited to someone who is hard-working, with a positive attitude. This role will be suited to someone who has at least 1-2 years experience within an assistant accountant role and is eager to work for a large business/ grow internally.
The responsibilities
- Revenue related cost accruals
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Profitability reporting and correct customer billing/cost adjustment
- P&L Analysis
- Month-end journals
- Business partnering activities- liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Other month-end closing financial accounting tasks.
- Indsutry Experince is valuable but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong accounting knowledge
- CA or CPA qualified or working towards
- System experience with Oracle (OTMS) beneficial but not required
