The Role
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, this position plays a key role in month‑end, statutory reporting and compliance obligations across a group of entities with a substantial annual turnover.

Responsibilities
  • Daily bank reconciliations and liaison with AP/AR teams
  • Preparation of organisation‑wide month‑end journal entries (accruals, prepayments, payroll etc.)
  • Preparation of timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT, WorkCover and other statutory obligations (TPAR, Payment Times Reporting)
  • Administration of banking facilities and management of system users
  • Analysis and commentary for the Corporate division, including monthly meetings with managers
  • Support with budgeting, forecasting and annual business planning
  • Assistance with annual financial statements, external audit and internal audit requirements
  • Contribution to project work and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring use of internal finance systems and digital tools in line with organisational standards
 
The Candidate 
  • A degree in Accounting with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
  • CPA or CA qualified or currently studying
  • Strong systems capability with an interest in learning new ERP platforms
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills
  • A resilient, energetic approach and a willingness to take ownership of tasks
  • Ability to build effective relationships across the business
