Duties:
- Identifying and gaining new business through a sustained program of cold calling, emailing, following up referrals/leads and keeping abreast of competitor's sales strategies
- Being the primary point of contact for allocated clients, acting as the main interface between the client and the organisation to ensure an optimal level of service is provided at all times
- Understanding the client’s objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes and forming long term business relationships
- Actively responding to and creating business leads and opportunities with new and existing clients
- Preparing sales quotations, proposals and responses to tenders or expressions of interest
- Engaging with pre sales and service delivery resources to define/design, cost and schedule solutions and developing, reviewing and finalising opportunities, proposals and tenders
- Working closely and collaboratively with the Service Delivery team to ensure the allocated client’s needs are met and satisfaction levels remain high
- Proven track record in the local IT industry
- Experience in solution selling
- Experience in selling Managed Services and/or cloud would be highly preferred
