They are currently seeking a passionate Bid & Tender Writer to join their team and play a crucial role in securing funding to support their mission and programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying commercial opportunities, developing tender and bid proposals, and maintaining relationships with various organisations and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research potential opportunities from various sources including government agencies, foundations, and corporations.
  • Develop compelling Bid & Tender proposals, applications, and reports in accordance with funder requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
  • Maintain accurate records of Tender submissions, approvals, and rejections.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective funders and donors.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and funding opportunities relevant to our organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Market, Communications, or equivalent work experience working in a fundraising or development role.
  • Proven experience in tender or bid writing, with a successful track record of securing funding from various sources and dealing with volume submissions.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive proposals.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to identify and evaluate potential funding opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
