As Bookkeeper, you will complete varying finance duties on a day to day basis across payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Responsibilities:
As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, reporting, and compliance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
✔ Accounts Management – Oversee accounts receivable & payable, perform reconciliations, and manage the month-end cycle to ensure accuracy and compliance.
✔ Payroll & Leave Management – Administer payroll and manage leave using Xero, ensuring timely and precise processing.
✔ BAS Lodgements – Handle Business Activity Statements (BAS) to maintain compliance and efficiency.
✔ Budgeting and forecasting - Develop annual budgets and forecasts for the practice and individual studios.
✔ Staff Training - Train non-finance team members on financial processes, such as time tracking, budgeting and expense reporting.
✔ Financial Statement Preparation – Produce comprehensive financial reports
✔ Cash Flow Forecasting & Strategy – Support cash flow forecasting and provide insights for strategic financial planning.

We’re seeking a finance professional who is detail-oriented, strategic, and passionate.
The ideal candidate will have:
5 + Years in a similar position
Experience using Xero is advantageous
Strong experience in financial management, accounting, or finance leadership.
Proficiency in handling BAS lodgements, reconciliations, and payroll.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills to manage investor relations and stakeholder engagement.
