About the Opportunity
      
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Brand Manager to join a market leading FMCG organisation and work with a collaborative marketing team.   
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement, with excellence integrated brand campaigns and assets, across Search, social media, and Shopper executions, aligned to sales promotional calendar, commercial priorities, and key retailer events, including all relevant approvals.
  • Conduct post campaign analysis using IRI and internal P&L data.
  • Keep brand website, and brand presence on retailer websites, up to date to maximize search potential.
  • Use IRI data and collaboration with commercial team to identify potential new product lines.
  • Work alongside the Marketing Director, with overseas and local internal team to understand and help influence future, profitable NPD pipeline.
  • Provide national account managers with brand and campaign information as requested to help prepare for Retailer Reviews.
  • Familiarity with the P&L and support commercial team in achieving sales and profit targets.
  • Work with account managers on allocation of Trade Marketing O&A spend.
  • Set, monitor, and maintain marketing A&P budget.
  • Monitor and evaluate competitor launches and industry trends, to identify opportunities and propose initiatives.
  • Understand all products in the portfolio and regularly track their performance.
  • Monthly preparation of brand performance report (KPI Scorecard) and contribution to any other business reports for internal or global management. Review of monthly reports (internal, global, consumer care, activity reports) to summarise key points.
  • Aid global Brand and Market Research teams when necessary.
  • Manage product/stock/POS items in storage and any stock pack outs required.
Skills & Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or Management Degree and/or significant relevant experience as a brand or marketing assistant.
  • Strong copy development and written skills with a passion for writing.
  • Knowledge of commodity, FMCG category experience highly valued.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, organise, and manage time effectively with high attention to detail.
  • Proactive self-starter. Autonomous, initiative-taker, results focused forward-thinker.
  • Analytical skills to extract insights from category data and work with sales to set strategic plans accordingly.
  • On-the-pulse mindset keeping up to date with current affairs, trending topics and other brand activity to enhance creativity and idea generation.
