The Business Analyst will be responsible for determining and documenting requirements for a Queensland government procurement process. The department is seeking a Business Analyst with previous experience in business analysis and operational support service knowledge of Microsoft 365 (M365) products who will be responsible for determining and documenting the requirements for a Queensland government procurement process.
The requirements are for the tender of a support contract for M365 services. The role requires stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering and analysis in line with the department’s strategic future directions and analysis of current support contracts and service gap identification. The Business Analyst will work closely with other lines of business to eliminate potential overlaps in service agreements and ensure compliance with departmental requirements. The output will be a set of requirements that the department can use in a procurement process to engage a new contractual arrangement.
About You:
- Highly developed IT technical understanding
- Demonstrated experience in Business Analyst roles
- Demonstrated experience in creating functional and non-functional business requirements specifications for a procurement activity.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the M365 suite of programs
- Effective stakeholder engagement skills – ability to engage with business units to establish business requirements for current and future state.
