Reporting into the Solutions Lead, the purpose of the Mobility Apps Lead and Business Analyst is to assist with the requirements gathering and then lead the project team that is delivering the mobility applications used within and assist users with any queries and or changes as requested.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead the scrum-team of 3 x Android Developers, 1 x SAP Functional, 1 x QA Tester, 1 x Support Analyst. This includes both local and offshore resources.
- Manage stand-ups, grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives and showcases.
- Manage the project budget and prepare status reports for the project steering committee.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to capture and refine the business requirements, manage the design and development for the organisation’s suite of mobile applications and Android PDA devices.
- Work closely with developers to optimise the applications to ensure best experience and to provide high quality solutions ensuring robustness, usability, and general reliability by following best practices including well documented code to ensure maintainability.
- Triage and Fix defects, performance, and stability problems with our mobile applications.
- Work closely with Android developers, UI designers, and Solution architects to ensure the configuration and custom components and classes meet all application requirements as well as performance goals, stability goals, PCI Compliance, etc.
- Provide thought leadership and mentoring to team members to foster and encourage team best practices.
- Continually discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.
About you:
- Mandatory – At least 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst working in IT, Digital or Mobility Applications.
- Desirable – Project Management qualification and/or at least 2 years’ experience as a Project Manager who has delivered Mobility applications.
- Desirable – Experience in SDLC methodologies including Waterfall & Agile methodologies • Desirable – Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Desirable – exposure to software development with Android / Kotlin.
- Proven work experience in Android Studio and Android SDK • Experience or knowledge working with Firebase
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Exposure to latest Android versions and new features
