About the role 
  
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the role holder is responsible for the achievement of defined sales and profit objectives within the Australian Business Development/Professional Cleaning across the Healthcare sector. The role holder is responsible for the execution of an agreed national sales strategy, focusing on end users in key nominated strategic market sectors

Duties 
  • Execution of strategy to achieve or exceed budgeted sales and profit targets by account and by territory in the allotted Business Development segment
  • Manage end user new business in the markets of Healthcare, GBC and Hospitality to ensure ongoing profitable growth and alignment with National Accounts and Distribution Teams
  • Drive the sales pipeline, demand planning and forecasting process to ensure they are sufficient. BDM’s will lead
  • C4C/CRM usage by example, and it is envisaged that AU BDM’s will be considered the benchmark for correct CRM usage both globally and nationally
  • Engage with the other BDM’s, the Distribution team, and National accounts to ensure the territory is well-supported and customer needs are well understood throughout the Business
  • Maintain an agreed customer contact schedule that includes identifying and resolving customer issues, introducing new products to gain sales and momentum and to report on competitor and customer wins/losses as they arise
Skills and Experience 
  • Proven track record of > 2 years+ experience in customer facing sales roles in B2B industry
  • Experience in a business development role preferred
  • Experience in competitive industrial markets essential
  • Experience in Professional Cleaning Market preferred but not essential
  • Relevant tertiary qualification preferred but not essential
