Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lifecycle category plans for diverse indirect categories (such as professional services, contingent labour, IT, Energy, facilities, and more), creating measurable impact and supporting core business services.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing, negotiate commercial contracts, and manage supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement and sustainability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and external networks to identify needs, optimise spend, and provide best-practice procurement consultancy.
- Apply analytics and market insights to inform strategy, deliver value, and identify efficiencies in indirect procurement.
- Proactively manage risk and compliance, while embedding strong ESG principles in sourcing decisions.
- Degree in business, procurement, supply chain or similar; advanced procurement credentials highly valued (e.g., MCIPS or equivalent).
- 5–10 years’ strategic procurement/category management experience, with significant exposure to indirect categories and proven results in complex environments.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and ability to communicate and build partnerships at every organisational level.
- Adept at leading cross-functional teams, managing projects, and introducing innovation or technology into procurement process.
- Skilled in data-driven decision-making and proficient with procurement or ERP systems.
- Full Australia working rights are essential.
