About the Organisation
The Leukaemia Foundation is a highly regarded national charity whose purpose is to stand with Australians to help cure and conquer every form of blood cancer – with care.  At every level of the organisation, we are committed to our primary goal that zero lives are lost to blood cancer by 2035  and this is embodied in the National Strategic Action Plan from the Blood Cancer Task Force, which has recently been endorsed and funded through our partnership with the Federal Government. Our mission is articulated in our firmly held values of caring deeply, being bold and stepping up and making it count for people living with blood cancer. Operationally, this is achieved by ensuring equity of access to services and support to all people living with blood cancer; funding the key priorities in medical research relating to blood cancer diagnosis and treatment; and empowering people to live well after diagnosis.
