The Opportunity
This is a high-stakes, "once-in-a-career" opportunity to spearhead the growth of a world-first Cisco initiative. As one of only six companies globally, and the exclusive supplier in Australia, to hold the Cisco Operational Technology (OT) Supplier status, this business is on the cusp of significant growth. After 30 years as a leader in industrial distribution and a five-year journey embedding the Cisco ecosystem, they are now shifting from program development to aggressive commercial growth.
  
The Role
This is a senior, "hunter" style position designed for a commercially minded strategist who can transition the program from its administrative foundations into a high-revenue engine. You will own the Cisco revenue number across the business, focusing on onboarding and upskilling smaller OT system integrators who may be new to the Cisco ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Execution: Drive the onboarding of new OT partners, targeting an initial goal of 5 key OTS partners to build a sustainable contributor base
  • Ecosystem Navigation: Act as the bridge between the Cisco brand and the partner base, working closely with Cisco Account Managers to leverage funding and programs.

  • Commercial Growth: Manage a $4M annual Cisco brand target, converting large-scale project opportunities into closed revenue through the partner channel.
      
  • Internal Enablement: Support and upskill the existing BDM team to identify and develop Cisco opportunities within their current accounts
About You
We are looking for a "hustler" with high energy who isn't afraid to open doors and build something from the ground up. You are a "straight-shooter" who can walk through a relationship-building process and demonstrate exactly how you have scaled a partner network in the past.

Experience Required:
  • Cisco Ecosystem Expertise: Deep experience within the Cisco sales environment (Reseller, Distribution, or Vendor) is essential.
      
  • Channel Management: Proven track record in building programs, embedding partners, and driving revenue through a third-party network.
      
  • Operational Technology Focus: While deep OT knowledge can be taught, you must have an orientation toward industrial networking, automation, or technology environments.
      
  • Strategic Execution: The ability to move beyond administrative management to become a "superstar" who sets the global gold standard for this program.  
Package & Location
  • Salary: $160,000 Base ($140k + $20k Car Allowance) + Uncapped Commissions + Super.
  • OTE: Realistic first-year earnings expected to reach $200,000+.
  • Location: Brisbane or Sydney.
  • Flexibility: A true "sales-first" culture, if you are seeing customers, you aren't expected to be in the office.
