Role Overview: This role involves the commercial ownership of a portfolio within our client base, providing critical financial insights and ensuring the integrity of financial data. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Full end-to-end ownership and preparation of a portfolio of P&Ls
• Accurate and timely month-end closing processes with performance commentary
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of detailed budgets and forecasts with commercial analysis
• Ensuring contract compliance
• Assisting internal and external stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and streamlining
• Administration and ad-hoc duties, including project work

Requirements:

• Accounting degree or studying towards similar qualifications
• Experience within a finance/accounting role (incl. Assistant Accountant, Financial Accountant)
• Ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and multitask
• Ability to explain variance against benchmarks and drive value
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels
