We are seeking a commercially minded and analytically strong Commercial Analyst to support the Director of Finance – Pharmacy in delivering high-quality financial insights and driving performance across a diverse portfolio of businesses.
This is a highly visible role where you will partner closely with senior leadership, contributing to strategic decision-making through robust analysis, reporting, and commercial insight. You’ll play a key role in understanding business performance at a site level and identifying opportunities to optimise outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver monthly financial reporting, KPI dashboards, and management reports
- Analyse both financial and non-financial performance across multiple sites to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Provide actionable insights to uplift business performance
- Identify and drive process improvements in reporting and analysis
- Support the financial setup of new sites, embedding best practice frameworks and behaviours
- Partner with stakeholders across finance, strategy, and operations to solve business challenges and unlock opportunities
- Assist in managing reporting timelines and key deliverables
The Candidate
You are a proactive, detail-oriented analyst with strong commercial acumen and a passion for turning data into meaningful insights. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively and have the following skills and previous experience.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and performance measurement
- Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present insights clearly
- Advanced Excel skills (essential)
- Experience with tools such as SAP, TM1, Power BI, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously and investigate issues independently
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
- CA / CPA / CFA (completed or in progress) or other relevant postgraduate qualifications highly regarded
