About the Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is to provide financial leadership within the supply chain function.  Responsibilities of the role will include the following:
  • Production and adoption of annual budgets and routine forecasts for the supply chain function;
  • Provide Supply Chain finance input into the business strategies and four-year financial planning process
  • Review the financial viability of, and develop enhancements to capital projects to maximise financial returns;
  • Understand, generate and maintain standard costs and proactively understand and report on variances to standard, and drive improvement initiatives where variances exist;
  • Drive reporting accuracy, usability and process improvement;
  • Develop the financial aspects of the supply chain strategies to ensure the efficient utilisation of resources
Skills & Experience:
As the desired candidate you will be either CA/CPA qualified with experience in a similar role preferably from within a Supply Chain/Manufacturing or FMCG industry.  Your thorough knowledge of manufacturing accounting, including standard costing and product costing, inventory reporting & analysis, and experience with the product life cycle.  Your effective communication and influencing skills are paramount in this role along with your ability to interpret complex information and articulate it to various stakeholders.  Experience with SAP is highly desirable, advanced Excel and Power BI (desirable but not essential).
