About the Role:
Joining a industry leader ASX organisation, the Commercial Analyst / Finance Analyst will be integral in providing insightful analysis through partnering with the commercial team.  You will add value to the business through your commercial and analytical understanding of the key drivers of the business and presenting to non-finance key stakeholders in understanding the financial performance of the division.

Key responsibilities:
• Support the commercial team in delivering insightful analysis and commercial recommendation across sales, gross profit and inventory
• Perform regular business performance reviews to resolve poor performance issues and ensure business initiatives are implemented successfully
• Ensure internal controls are embedded and that adequate tracking is in place to ensure adherence to accounting standards
• Support annual operating plan to process to consolidate results and build insights of sales, GP and overhead
• Responsible for consolidating monthly forecast process and weekly forecast update to understand key performance drivers
• Managing costs against budget/targets and assisting key stakeholders to monitor budgets/targets

Key attributes of successful application:
• CA or CPA (Studying towards)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross functional stakeholders
• Inquisitive nature and willing to challenge the status quo
•Strong data analysis and modelling skills
