In this key leadership role, you will be a strategic and commercial leader responsible for delivering commercial insights and opportunities to support GMs across the business and their decision-making. Duties include:

• Provide key commercial analysis, lead planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities;
• Support sales teams in customer tenders, management of price and cost review (standard costing);
• Management of working capital;
• Financial modelling support for projects and M&A activities;
• Monthly Demand Forecasting Cycle and forecasting accuracy;
• Analysis of stocktake outcomes and improvement opportunities; 
• Sales & margin analysis (customer/product changes);
• Provide insightful commentary and recommendations; 
• Maintain & develop NPD models for relevant business units; and 
• Provide financial modelling support to business cases & projects.

Candidate background

Ideally having commenced your career within a chartered firm (Big 4 or mid-tier), you will be CA/CPA qualified and have demonstrated expertise in commercial finance roles within complex retail or FMCG environment in a FP&A, Commercial or Senior Costing role. Previous experience working with product manufacturing, launches and end of life cycle management + strong financial analysis skills are essential. Your ability to exert influence across the business will be fundamental to your success.
