The Role
Managing a team of four and reporting to the Finance Director, this role will involve the following:
Business Partnering:
- Commercially aware, understands and anticipates the needs of their business partners.
- Analyses & interprets data, able to present its value in a clear, concise and relevant way.
- Actively influences day-to-day decisions of the Commercial Sales Team.
- Builds partnerships and maintains good relationships across functions with senior managers and their teams.
- Translates accounting for non-accountants.
- Analyse the effectiveness of Retail promotions.
- Ensure trade spend has been properly accounted for.
- Ensure agreed Customer pricing is accurately maintained.
- Supports the Commercial Team to realise margin improvement opportunities.
- Co-ordinate all Tenders through to market execution.
- Provide all management reporting and analysis of Sales performance and other Marketing spend.
- Co-ordinate the design, build and publishing of Tableau visualisations that explain Sales performance.
CPA / CA qualified, you will have prior experience within a product-based (e.g. retail, FMCG, consumer goods, distribution, manufacturing) organisation partnering with the Sales division.
