About the role
Reporting to the CFO, the Commercial Finance Manager plays a central role in driving RG’s growth across both the retail network and property portfolio. You will lead capital planning, budgeting and forecasting, while partnering closely with the CFO, Executive and Development team. This is a hands‑on, influential role where your commercial insights will directly shape RG’s expansion strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across capital, development and operational expenses
- Own the capital investment and reinvestment framework, ensuring disciplined allocation and maximised ROI across the KFC portfolio
- Deliver feasibility studies and commercial evaluations for new store builds, major upgrades and strategic development initiatives
- Partner closely with Operations and Development teams to provide commercial insights, performance analysis and margin optimisation
- Act as the commercial lead on cross‑functional forums including Development, Operational Budgeting and Capital Budgeting
- Prepare and present investment cases, forecasts and commercial performance insights to the CFO, Directors and Executive Team
- Support pricing, profitability analysis and benchmarking to drive business improvement and sustainable margin growth
- Partner with RG’s banking and funding stakeholders to support current and future financing requirements
- Support the Group Finance team with timely management reporting and performance reviews
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business
- CA or CPA qualified
- 4+ years’ experience in commercially focused role with emphasis on planning, budgeting, analysis, performance evaluation, forecasting and costing
- Experience within multi‑site operations, retail, hospitality or similar fast‑paced environments will be highly regarded
- Strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, investment evaluation and financial modelling
- Advanced Excel and experience working with ERP systems
- Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing commercial decisions
- Comfortable working autonomously in a hands‑on, high‑impact environment
