The Role
This role will drive financial, operational, process and system improvements and performance excellence across the Group. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage financial aspects of commercial activities, ensuring alignment with broader financial strategies.
- Lead, developing and managing financial budgets that align with the organisation's goals and operational needs.
- Own and drive the budgeting and forecasting process, working with key stakeholders to provide insight and trends.
- Oversee and enhance commercial operations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Lead efforts to overhaul and optimise logistics and supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate potential M&A opportunities, oversee the due diligence processes and lead the financial and operational integration of acquired entities.
- Conduct robust investment analysis and appraisals to guide strategic decision-making.
- Project management i.e. Lead the integration of business processes into a new ERP.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans including presenting to senior leaders.
You will be CA/CPA qualified + have strong experience in an industrial operations setting such as logistics, supply chain, manufacturing or similar. You will have expertise in financial and operational modelling, including scenario analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making coupled with your ability to create and refine complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and assess financial viability.
