The Commercial Manager – Supply Chain is a key leadership role partnering directly with the GM of Supply Chain, supporting the National Operations team in achieving their strategic business objectives. Managing a small team, this role will partner with a range of business units to provide decision support, analysis, and insights to support the executive team in achieving their strategic ambitions.
Duties
- Business partner the Operations leadership team to support the optimisation of supply chain
- Lead a small team to provide insights and analysis of key performance drivers
- Lead the budget and forecast process aligning business units and communication of initiatives
- Lead the weekly reporting process, analysing data and ensuring accuracy
- Build business cases and scenario models, providing recommendations to enable decision makers
- Monitor inventory management focusing on minimising inventory losses and cost optimisation
- Drive process improvement in the finance reporting function to support an improved reporting framework
- Encourage continuous improvement, automation and implement best practices through robust processes
- Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to achieve individual and team objectives
Skills and Experience
- CA / CPA Qualified
- 5+ years finance lead experience
- Proven business partnering skills
- Management of multi-functional teams
- Large FMCG / Retail background preferred
- In-depth understanding of retail operations and logistics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Advanced leadership, coaching, mentoring and development skills
