The Role
Reporting into the Commercial Manager, the core responsibility of the role is to provide commercial support around key decision making and business case analysis with respect to the organisation's supply chain and retail operations here in Australia. Your role will also include but not be limited to the following:
- Partner with stakeholders to provide financial modelling, business case support, and post-implementation reviews for online and supply chain projects.
- Analyse financial data to identify profitability drivers and improvement opportunities for strategic decision-making.
- Support ad hoc analysis and contribute to value-add projects and process improvements.
- Deliver monthly performance reports, metrics, and commentary for the Board and EGM.
- Consolidate the Customer & Online Portfolio for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop detailed budgets and forecasts for the online business.
- Present monthly results and forecasts, highlighting key risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing financial support and insights to the online and supply chain business units.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be CA or CPA qualified with experienced working within a product based environment, and have a thirst to work in a dynamic commercial environment. You are a big picture thinker who is able to reason at a conceptual level, while still maintaining a strong attention to detail. You have the confidence and credibility to engage effectively and build relationships with senior executives and can effectively manage multiple priorities, remaining poised and efficient under pressure.
Candidates with previous experience working within a supply chain finance role in either retail or FMCG are strongly encouraged to apply.
