About the role: 
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a strong technical Company Accountant to join a respected listed property/ real estate group who are growing exponentially. Taking a hands-on approach, this role will support the CFO and Finance Manager. 

The responsibilities:
The main duties include:

• Assist in managing accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, payment processing, and vendor management.
• Assist with the management of the company's cash flow forecasting and monthly reporting
• Month-end financial accounting closing process, including GL entries, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, P&L reviews etc.
• Revenue forecasting and liaising with Local GMs.
• Preparation of indirect tax returns (GST / BAS) for review.
• Monitor and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Support the maintenance of the general ledger, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with year end Audit.
• Assist with ad hoc requests, improve accounting processes, and support finance and business initiatives and projects.

  The successful applicant will have:

• Experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll and tax compliance. 
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA/CA certification or working towards. 
• Excellent oral and writing communication skills. 
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards. 
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills. 
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
• Audit experience gained in an accounting firm or within a company finance team.
