About the Role
As the Company Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the company. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
You responsibilities will include though not limited to:
- Manage accounts payable processes, including vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and customer account management.
- Administer payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, benefits, and deductions.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Withholding tax compliance, reporting and payments.
- Reconciliation of inter-company loan and inter-co GLs.
- Review all expenses and recommend cost saving methods.
- Actively develop and maintain system knowledge to provide Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable back up when required.
- Support, manage and provide development opportunities to Accounts Payable Officer.
- Ad hoc duties when required

- An established bookkeeping skill set and strong understanding of financial and accounting processes
- Sound knowledge in excel and financial management software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation preferred or aspirations to do so.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably.
- Proficiency in large ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Dynamics will be highly considered.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
