Position:
We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our client's team on a temporary basis, with the possibility of a long-term extension. This role involves managing the full end-to-end accounting function, including month-end processes, financial reporting, payroll, reconciliations, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full End-to-End Accounting Function: Manage all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Month-End Close: Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Payroll Management: Oversee the monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Reconciliations: Conduct regular bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Multi-Currency Payments and Transfers: Handle multi-currency transactions, payments, and transfers, ensuring compliance with international financial standards.
- Fixed Asset Register: Maintain and manage the fixed asset register, ensuring all assets are accurately recorded and depreciated.
Qualifications:
- MS Navision experience
- Proven experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with financial reporting, payroll management, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills
