The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will provide support to the wider finance team by helping to prepare cash forecasting, financial statements, reconciliations, account transactions and journals. Your duties include:
- Preparation and reporting of daily and weekly cash forecasts;
- Preparation of bank reconciliations for all divisions;
- Preparation of all balance sheet reconciliations for all divisions;
- Preparation of monthly management reports;
- Ownership of month-end close and presentation of updates;
- Posting of job cost reallocations and working with the Commercial team to ensure projects cost are accurate;
- Preparation of BAS returns;
- Review of expense accounts; and
- Management of daily cash balances and transfers.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience in financial accounting;
- CA/CPA qualified;
- Ability to demonstrate financial acumen
- Ability to problem solve and be autonomous.
