The Role
As the Corporate Accountant, you will partner with Financial Controller operational stakeholders across Western Australia
Your duties will include:
- Month end journals & accruals.
- Maintain and process fixed asset register and depreciation schedules, AASB16 leases model,
- Balance sheet reconciliations, fuel tax credits reconciliation etc.
- Commercial reporting and analysis across branches, entities and group levels.
- Review and approve payroll.
- Prepare, calculate, lodge and pay BAS & FBT
- Complete weekly cash flow forecast
- Compile financial reports and reconciliations, uploading to auditor’s portal.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in finance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
You will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial.
Key skills include:
- Experience in a large, complex environment.
- Proven experience as a Corporate Accountant.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data from multiple sources and provide strategic insights.
- Drive change and lead process improvement.
