The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for the financial and transactional accounting across different departments within the business. Supporting the Financial Manager & Financial Controller, this role responsible for the delivery of timely and accurate monthly consolidated results including accounting entries and accompanying analysis, month end reconciliations, monitoring of management business financials, and partnering with finance and the commercial business to provide insights to key senior stakeholders
The responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing commercial expertise to the business with a focus on strategic planning, analysis and business partnering. More specifically, your role will include:
- Month-end ownership, including reconciliations, monthly BAS, and responding to queries from P&A team.
- Ownership of certain joint venture tax returns including payments
- Liaise and build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders across finance and the commercial business to deliver accurate and insightful financial information.
- Review the monthly reports to ensure accuracy and reliability of information
- Exposure to ASX listed environments and/or funds management and trust accounting
- CA or CPA qualification
- Tertiary qualification in finance or accounting
